Nous sommes mercredi, c'est donc jour de sortie aux États-Unis pour les comics Star Wars de chez Marvel !
Parmi les différentes sorties du jour, nous retrouvons notamment Jedi : Fallen Order - Dark Temple #2, le second numéro du comic faisant office de préquelle au jeu vidéo Jedi : Fallen Order.
Écrit par Matthew Rosenberg et illustré par Paolo Villanelli, ce nouveau numéro de Dark Temple poursuit donc l'histoire précédemment mise en place : le maître Jedi Eno Cordova et son padawan Cere Junda se retrouvent séparés sur la planète Ontotho, où un conflit est sur le point d'éclater entre les locaux et une cupide corporation républicaine. Au milieu du différend, un mystérieux temple semble attirer toutes les convoitises ...
Le synopsis officiel :
The Jedi Knights are mostly gone and forgotten, destroyed by their ancient enemies - the Sith - after a long civil war was engineered to bring about their downfall and a new age: the age of the Empire.
Now, the Emperor has deployed ruthless Inqusitors to hunt anypotential surviving Jedi. But not long before, the Jedi were the guardians of peace and justicein the galaxy for the Republic.
One Jedi team, the headstrong Cere Junda and her master Eno Cordova, arrive on the planet Ontotho to settle a dispute between the Daa Corporation and the local Fylari, the only beings on the planet not to ally with the Republic.
Dylanto Daa, the company's founder, wishes to research amysterious temple on Fylari land. On the way to negotiate with the Fylari ambassador, Daa's caravan was attacked !
Cere and Master Eno were separated, but not before perceiving that the strange planet overwhelmed the Force-attuned senses. And to makematter worse, Eno was caught in a tremendous explosion and Cere has been captured !
